The KDDM (Circle of Düsseldorf Muslims) launched a new series of events in 2019: the Düsseldorf Friday talks aim to bring the Muslim perspective into the city’s society. On a total of six Fridays, socially relevant topics were discussed, thereby raising awareness of them in Düsseldorf civil society. The idea was to establish a lasting dialogue format to address key areas of societal action. Kübra Layık was involved as coordinator and author and will also support the project in the next few years
