Coalition for Pluralistic Public Discourse

The Coalition for Pluralistic Public Discourse (CPPD) is a project of the Leo Baeck Foundation that gathers intellectuals, artists and scholars with the aim of rethinking memory cultures and developing strategies and visions for pluralistic remembering. Under the scientific-artistic direction of Dr. Max Czollek (poet and essayist) and the overall direction of Jo Frank and Johanna Korneli (Dialogue Perspectives Programme/Leo Baeck Foundation), Dialogperspektiventhe CPPD develops artistic, civil society, educational and didactic concepts and ideas for the pluralisation of European memory cultures.

Prasanna Oommen is a member of the CPPD. In October 2021, she was part of the poster campaign "Erinnerungsfutur" (Future of Remembrance), which drew attention to the gaps in German remembrance policy both online and in the city centres of Berlin and Halle on the occasion of German Unity Day.
