Science Evening of the RWTH Aachen „The New Fiction of Good Science – in Need of a Paradigm Shift?!”

As part of the 150th anniversary of RWTH Aachen University, a science evening was held on 6 May at the NRW State Representation in Berlin. The title of the event was: "The New Fiction of Good Science - in Need of a Paradigm Shift?

Prasanna Oommen moderated the english panel "University 4.0: Teaching and Learning in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" with Prof. Dr. Dr. Andreas Barner (President of the Stifterverband), Prof. Simone Buitendijk (Vice Chancellor of the University of Leeds), Prof. Anna Karlsson-Bengtsson (Vice President for Education and Lifelong Learning, Chalmers University of Technology) & Raphael Kiesel (PhD student and senior engineer at the Machine Tool Laboratory WZL of RWTH Aachen University).

The panel also included keynotes from Prof. Lynda Gratton (Professor of Management Practice at London Business School and author of "The New Long Life") and Anant Agarwal (Founder & CEO of edX, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)).
