The Wirtschafts.Forscher educational programme of the PwC Foundation with the Institute for Economic Education Oldenburg, EDUCATION Y, freiwerk B and the Karl Schlecht Foundation invites pupils and teachers to deal with ethical issues in the digital economy in a well-founded, multi-perspective and problem-oriented manner and to strengthen their decision-making and action skills. By using digital elements and tools in the Wi.Fo! lab, the students work on project ideas of their own choosing as part of research-based learning.
On 6 and 7 June 2024, Prasanna Oommen moderated the final event of the Wirtschafts.Forscher programme 23/24, which provided a multi-perspective review of the past year and allowed the participating schools to present their results to a broad audience. In addition to panel discussions and various workshop phases, the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas and network in participatory supporting programmes. The two-day event ended with a large certificate award ceremony for all participating schools.
